Jody joined the SHS clinical faculty as a generalist with experiences in both medical and school-based practice. She attended Clemson University for her Bachelor's degree and Western Carolina University in NC for her Master’s degree. She began her career in the medical sector, specializing in dysphagia and aphasia while working across the United States in a diverse range of healthcare settings. Transitioning into school-based services, she specialized in autism spectrum disorders, child language development and gained experience with culturally and linguistically diverse populations while working abroad with multi-language learners as an SLP.
